Reducing Communication Channels in MPC

چکیده
In both information-theoretic and computationally-secure MultiParty Computation (MPC) protocols the parties are usually assumed to be connected by a complete network of secure or authenticated channels, respectively. Taking inspiration from a recent, highly efficient, threeparty honest-majority computationally-secure MPC protocol of Araki et al., we show how to perform the most costly part of a computationally secure MPC protocol for an arbitrary Q2 access structure over an incomplete network. We present both passive and actively secure (with abort) variants of our protocol. In all cases we require fewer communication channels for secure multiplication than Maurer’s “MPC-Made-Simple” protocol, at the expense of requiring pre-shared secret keys for PseudoRandom Functions (PRFs).

Reducing the Overhead of MPC over a Large Population
We present a secure honest majority MPC protocol, against a static adversary, which aims to reduce the communication cost in the situation where there are a large number of parties and the number of adversarially controlled parties is relatively small. Our goal is to reduce the usage of point-to-point channels among the parties, thus enabling them to run multiple different protocol executions. ...

متن کاملDesign and Practical Implementation of a New Markov Model Predictive Controller for Variable Communication Packet Loss in Network Control Systems
The current paper investigates the influence of packet losses in network control systems (NCS’s) using the model predictive control (MPC) strategy. The study focuses on two main network packet losses due to sensor to controller and controller to actuator along the communication paths. A new Markov-based method is employed to recursively estimate the probability of time delay in controller to ac...

In recent years chaotic secure communication and chaos synchronization have received ever increasing attention. Unfortunately, despite the advantages of chaotic systems, Such as, noise-like correlation, easy hardware implementation, multitude of chaotic modes, flexible control of their dynamics, chaotic self-synchronization phenomena and potential communication confidence due to the very dynami...
متن کاملConstant-Round Asynchronous Multi-Party Computation
Secure multi-party computation (MPC) allows several mutually distrustful parties to securely compute a joint function of their inputs and exists in two main variants: In synchronous MPC parties are connected by a synchronous network with a global clock, and protocols proceed in rounds with strong delivery guarantees, whereas asynchronous MPC protocols can be deployed even in networks that deliv...
